This DEX Pack analyzes the performance and usage of the most frequently used Google Applications.

How This Feature Helps You

The Google Workspace Analytics DEX pack offers several benefits for managing and optimizing the use of Google Workspace applications:

  • Performance Monitoring: It provides insights into the performance of key Google Workspace applications like Docs, Sheets, and Slides, helping you identify and address performance issues.

  • Usage Analysis: The pack tracks the usage of these applications, showing which ones are most frequently used and how they are being utilized.

  • Load Time Tracking: It monitors the load times for different Google apps, allowing you to pinpoint slow-performing applications and improve user experience.

  • Resource Optimization: By analyzing usage patterns, the pack helps you optimize resource allocation and minimize waste.

This display shows the worst performing Google Apps based on the average load time over the last 30 days.

Usage

This dashboard shows the most used Google Apps over the last 30 days.

Performance

Load Time Summary

The Load Time Summary graph shows the average load time for each Google app including Overall, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Select a bar to populate the Load Time Trending graph and the Systems Summary table.

The Load Time Summary graph shows the three following metrics in bar graph form:

  • Average Click-T0-Render Times (s)

  • Average Round-Trip (s)

  • Average Processing Times (s)

Load Time Trends

The Load Time Trend graph shows the three following metrics in bar graph form:

  • Average Click-T0-Render Times (s)

  • Average Round-Trip (s)

  • Average Processing Times (s)

The bars are named for their corresponding metrics. The metric trends cover the past 30 days for the different Google apps including Overall, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. The bar selected in Load Time Summary populates the graph. You may also select the item you wish to see from the Use the drop-down menu under View to choose others items for viewing. Select a blue dot on the date graph for specific data for corresponding day.

Systems Summary

The System Summary table shows the Average Load Time for different systems, users, and apps. Select a system from the table to populate the System Details table with detailed data. Select an item from the drop-down menu under View to choose.

System Details

Th System Details table shows the full results for all Google web apps from the system selected in the Systems Summary table.

Usage

Usage Summary

This display shows the Usage Trending graph of Focus Time in hours in Google apps including Overall, Docs, Sheets, and Slides. Focus Time sums the total time an app occupied an active window for all users in this group. Select a bar to populate more detailed information in Usage Trending.

Usage Trending

This display shows Google app usage trends over the past 30 days. The bar selected in the Usage Summary will populate the Usage Trending Graph.

  • Select a bar on the date graph for specific data on time use of an app for that day.

Systems Summary

This table shows the Total Focus Time for different systems, users, and apps. Select a system here to populate the System Details table with detailed data.

Systems Details

The System Details table shows the full results for all Google web apps from the system selected in the Systems Summary table.
